Herman Creek Horse Camp
Directions:
From Portland: take I-84 to Cascade Locks exit, follow main road east thru town, cross under freeway, go straight at stop sign, road bends to left, follow road about 2 miles. Camp is on your left, just after Herman Creek Work Center.
From Hood River: take I-84 westbound to Exit 47, Forest Road and Herman Creek exit. Turn left at bottom of ramp, go under freeway, take right, follow road about 1/4 mile. Camp is on your left, just before Herman Creek Work Center.

 

Elevation:

500'

 

Facilities:

7 sites, fire rings, 2 double-vaulted toilets, potablewater, hitching rails, horse stalls. Campground Host during most of the season.

 

Activites:

Herman Creek Trail and Pacific Crest Trail

No

 

Fees:

$8 per night for camping. Day Use parking requires Northwest Forest Pass.
