Facilities:

Horse camp is one large area in SW corner of the park at the equestrian trailhead. Area can accommodate 10 horse trailers. There are four 12x12 corrals. Hitching rails are nearby. Ground surface is pumice, not gravel. Water spigot and picnic tables are nearby. Closest flush toilets are 200' away in the day use area. No fires allowed without park permission. Upon request, park can supply crude camp stove.

 

Activities:

10 miles equestrian/hiking trail to Jackson F. Kimball State Recreation Site. Nearby equestrian trails in the Winema National Forest.

None, all camping areas in the park are first-come-first-served.
